We're the Nilson family - Bruce, Barbara, and Logan - and we work hard to continue the traditions of Goju Ryu in our Karate classes, passing down the knowledge and skills that were passed down to us through a long chain of dedicated practitioners of Okinawan Martial Arts - as taught to us by
Master Sensei George Orcutt (founder of the LionPit) who was
trained by Master Sensei Chunin Teruo.
Bruce is a 24 year Army veteran who has trained in various Arts since 1979, and includes many varied techniques in the individual self defense classes.
